Project Description:
This four star boutique beach resort on a 600m long stretch of reclaimed and shaped bay in Ras Al Khaimah consists of 151 rooms and suites in 39 chalets, several F&B outlets in two buildings, three swimming pools, and a dedicated 22,000 sqft Spa and reception building.
Convrgnt designed the entire project from concept onwards and was responsible for complete Architectural, Structural and MEP design services as well as construction. The Design Stage was fast tracked and completed in three months prior to start on site.
The construction contract was completed in exactly 365 days by end of 2006 – enabling a successful opening for the peak travel season. This Design & Build approach saved the client in excess of six months of conventional design development and tender periods.
